How a Floway flower vending machine works
Floway founder Kārlis Ozoliņš shows TV3 News how our flower vending machines work. Self-service vending machines are becoming increasingly common in Latvia, offering an ever wider range of products. Our flower vending machines are part of this trend: an innovative way to buy flowers at a convenient place and time that has proved popular with customers.

From one machine at the airport to 13 in Riga and the surrounding area
Although our original idea was much more modest, in a year and a half we installed 13 Floway flower vending machines in Riga and the surrounding area. Customer interest showed us that people elsewhere also wanted to collect flowers at a convenient place and time, so the idea gradually grew into a wider network of machines.
Two ways to buy a bouquet
You can choose a bouquet at the machine and pay by bank card. The other option is to buy online: your chosen bouquet waits in a specific machine, and you open its compartment using a code sent by text message.
You can find detailed information about buying and collecting flowers in the Floway flower buying guide.
The current selection in each machine is also shown online, so you can choose your bouquet and the most convenient collection point before setting off.
