Just a few years ago, buying a bouquet from a machine seemed unusual. Today, Floway has grown from one machine at Riga Airport into a network of 25. We share our story in “Ir Nauda”.
Floway bouquets already sit in water reservoirs inside the flower vending machines. The stems stay in water after collection, so you do not need to find a vase when giving them — at work, in a restaurant, at the airport or elsewhere.
There is no single right formula for a birthday bouquet. Three things usually make the choice easier: the recipient’s taste, where the celebration will take place and your flower budget.
Welcoming someone at the airport is always a little special. Sometimes a hug is enough; other times you want something more. The Floway machine at Riga Airport lets you collect a bouquet just before you meet.
A few simple things make the biggest difference to cut flowers: a clean vase, fresh water, freshly trimmed stems and the right spot in your home. Regular, straightforward care helps a bouquet stay beautiful for longer.

Floway began with a simple idea: one flower vending machine at Riga Airport and a little extra income alongside a day job. Founder Kārlis Ozoliņš shared the story on Latvian Radio 1.
