Welcoming someone at the airport is always a little special. Sometimes a hug is enough; other times you want something more. The Floway machine at Riga Airport lets you collect a bouquet right there, just before you meet.

The Floway machine in RIX’s public area

The Floway flower vending machine is in Arrivals Hall E at RIX Riga Airport. When you are meeting a loved one, there is no need to find a bouquet in the city and bring it along: you can buy beautiful, fresh flowers at the airport shortly before you meet. Floway bouquets are also available with a 10% discount as part of RIX’s special offers. You can claim it by using a promo code when purchasing. For more information, visit the RIX special offers section.

Your bouquet can be waiting before the flight lands

The Floway shop shows the current selection for each machine. Choose the RIX Riga Airport location to see the bouquets available there. The selection changes with the day and season. This is convenient when a flight is already on its way but you still have time before meeting it. You can buy a bouquet online or choose one at the machine.

Buy online or at the machine

You can pay by bank card at the machine. A bouquet purchased online waits in your chosen compartment, which you open using a code sent by text message. Find out more about the ways to buy a bouquet in the Floway buying guide.

Remember that online purchases have a collection time limit. Floway’s unique door-opening code is valid for three hours after purchase, so it is best to check the flight’s arrival time before buying.

What kind of bouquet works best at the airport?

At the airport, people often have a suitcase, hand luggage and a wish to get on their way as quickly as possible. A compact bouquet can therefore be particularly convenient. Floway bouquets already sit in water reservoirs, so there is no need for a separate vase when you meet.

We like the idea that flowers can become the first lovely moment after a long journey. You can see the current selection of bouquets at RIX Airport in the Floway shop.
